"Following serious flood damage, Cambridge Construction started work on my house in early July and had completed all the principal work by mid August. This was a Herculean effort involving ripping out virtually all ceilings, repairing all the damaged plaster, rewiring the whole house, re-siting the main boiler and reparing the whole central heating system, replacing all the damaged plumbing, refitting the bathrooms, as well as fully redecorating the whole building.

The willingness of Sam and his team, together with their professional and friendly approach was remarkable. In addition to the insured work, CBS kindly agreed to complete a significant amount of additional work which has resulted in my property being turned from a rather tired looking 60s house into a brand spanking new property.

The thoroughness and standard of the work carried out has been of the highest order. The few snagging issues are being dealt with courteously and willingly and, all in all, I couldn't have wished for my property to have been renovated by anyone better.

The trauma of the flooding of my house and the subsequent renovation was made all the easier because of Sam's personal attention and willingness to fulfil all the many requests I made of him.

"In March 2010 I undertook a building project on my house in the Hanover area. This was the excavation of the back half of my basement kitchen, which was originally just back filled.

I chose Cambridge Construction, their quote was very good, (even better value than the Polish builders) and I felt confident that the work would be of a high quality. I was not disappointed.

The company owner, Sam, was extremely helpful and did not get upset when I changed my mind three times about where some of the structure would be placed.

He is very knowledgeable in the building arena and has many contacts which saved us a lot of money. The sub-contractor Richard and his team were excellent. They hand dug some 30 skips worth of earth and rubble, and secured the upper floors safely whilst underpinning in sections.

Richard is a very good communicator and goes out of his way to make the whole experience as easy as possible. The finished kitchen is absolutely wonderful and has given our very small house a new lease of life.
